[EDIT POST]
Hello! As the title shows, I am having a problem choosing between buying a BRANDNEW android phone or buying a SECOND HAND iPhone.
A little background about my āphone lifeā (lol) I lost my IP13 last May this year where I only have it for about 10 months (after not having a phone for over a year). Most of the time that I do not have a phone I only have with me my very reliable iPad. Now that itās been about almost half a year already of not having a phone (yet again), thereās this tingling sensation that I feel every once in a while that tells me I have to buy a new phone already.
My friends are telling me I should just resort to an android phone just to have a replacement of my previous phone. So I did. I looked for an android phone that would best suit my everyday use of a phone and I stumbled upon the Poco F5 lineup. I am currently torn buying a brand new F5 or F5 pro which will cost me around 15k and 25k respectively (depending on the sale in shopee lol). However, when I looked in Carousell, there are iPhone 11 and pro max and iPhone 12 and pro that are in the same price range as the android phones. I also consider having a second hand iPhone since I already have an iPad and the convenience of apple ecosystem was really something to me. It was not that great but the simplest form of seamlessly transferring a file or pictures over airdrop from another person is quite convenient lol (most of my friends use ip).
I am planning to buy a phone next month or probably December for a greater chance of discounts. My budget is no more than 25k. I honestly do not want to rush buying a replacement phone but for the past weeks, Iāve been noticing the declining performance of my ipad. Iām just really worried that I may have overusing my ipad for the past years due to lack of a phone (i am a very hard user huhu).
Please I am asking for help huhu if you have other suggestions of phone or something, please drop it below.
More information about my use of gadgets: - Casual gaming only - More of watching so display is really a big factor to me - I like taking pictures (not so much of vid) - I would say, I donāt mind charging more than once in a day since i have a powerbank and an ipad to use when itās charging - ADDITIONAL: i dont like curved displays mainly bc i have sweaty hands and chunky fingers haha
I have iPad Pro 2020! Heheheh
