I’ve been playing since set 8. Took me longer than average to understand the game (itemis, itemization, econ, comps, literally everything lol). Like I think I’ve only totally understood things since set 10 haha took me so long. In set 8 I was silver. Set 9-10 I made it to Gold III and Gold II. I think I’ve finally understood the fundamentals.

I don’t play too many games I average about 5-7 ranked each week and about 7-10 in double up (we are almost emerald rank in double up).

I was Gold I 99 LP today so I made it my mission to reach Plat IV. I lost so much, went down to 59 LP. I had great comps, but not a capped board. (6 duelists with sage and Wukong 2* / 4 snipers Ashe 2* great items 4 Warden) but kept losing.

Finally I went 6 Umbral 4 invokedr capped board with Set 2, Azir 2, Lillia 2, Annie 2, Sylas 2* and finally Udyr 2* level 10. I got first and promoted.

I don’t know how I’ll do in Plat but I’m happy I made it! Props to people Emerald and beyond. Hope I continue to grow as a player. Can’t believe I’ve been playing over a year now. Usually I’m into FPS and fighting games so this was something totally new for me.

Any tips for how to climb as best as I can in Plat?
