These last two weeks RKT has been getting hit with a lot of short volume. Short Volume does not affect the long positions of your shares but understanding the trends will help you to make money on the short term. If you have a lot of vested interest in this stock please bookmark this:

Most importantly read the short shares available. You will see this number fluctuate date to day. At the lowest before it shot up to $43 dollars there were 0 short shares available. What this means is the shares have been borrowered to sell and lower the price of the stock, and those shares will need to be repurchased. Yesterday we say this short shares available for from around 1million to 4.5 million. Meaning the shorts covered 3 million shares and the stock skyrocketed over $28 a share. Today only 1.9 million short shares available, meaning 2.6 million shares were shorted which is why you are currently seeing a down day. Knowing the short shares available is your cheat code to know if the stock is artificially low or if there has just been a major buy back.

So what do I do with this knowledge?

I am long on this stock, I think its worth $30 a share with the potential to go longer. I currently own 1400 shares, how I personally have been trading is the following:

$25.5 and less per share - Buy RKT up to 1500 shares. Roughly $25 seems to be its floor and buying under this price point is a steal for me.

$25.5-26.5 - Buy 100 shares of RKT if short shares available are less then 500k

$26.5-27.5 - Sell 100 shares of RKT if short shares available are more then 1million.

$27.5 - Sell 500 shares of RKT if short shares available are more then 1 million. If less only sell 100.

My advice for everyone is to watch this stock see what strategy works for you, and make money long term while also holding a long position. This sub reddit is not for traders who want to hold 1 stock and force everyone else to hold. Make your own money, the more money you make in the short term, the better long position you can purchase.
