I was recently at a newly renovated country club gym. There is a whirlpool and steam room but the showers are all private and have a opaque door(but very nice). As I walk in there is a man in the whirlpool and my courage fails me and so I take a brief shower to get the sweat off me before using the amenities. By the time I finish he is in the steam room and I follow. He keeps his towel on so, I do so as well as I do not know the culture of the gym. The sound of the tv is bothering me so I leave and try to mute it. This also lets me scope out the whirlpool and it is clearly designed to be used nude. Sweet. So I do. I also position myself so I can see all the adjacent hall ways including the shower doors. The man leaves and goes to take a shower. As he takes his towel off, he makes sure I can see his manhood. I keep enjoying the whirlpool and he finishes his shower and retrieves his towel and leaves the door to his shower open while he dries himself in it. I can not see anything but I wonder if this is an invitation to go over and observe him. My courage fails me again but I do go over to the shower area but am not able to see him without being really obvious. I then shower and then shave. I do not see him again until I am leaving and it seems that he has stuck around. I engage him in brief friendly conversation as we leave and he smiles broadly. I then see him exercising the next day and I wonder if he will follow me down to the locker room but he does not. However a few patrons were willing to walk around the locker room without a towel around their waist, so I do so as well. I will be back at this gym in a few weeks and we will see if anything happens then.
