I discovered DBZA and TFS sometime around the start of the freezer saga. Been a fan since. I never got to watch Dragon ball or DBZ as a kid since my dad shut that down. He had a problem with me watching that "Japanimation shit". So I got a very small exposure to the show. I ended reading through the manga later on (after watching DBZA I think).

However, to me it was always another anime/manga with a talented fan-based parody. I never saw Gohan's transformation. I never heard that scream with the song in the background. I never got that build up to Cell in the same way many others did. I've seen people here talk about how impactful that scene is, and apparently many of you TFS members absolutely love that scene.

It's powerful, and now I finally get it. I checked it out and saw how it's basically 1 to 1 of the original JP version, and I have to say as someone who never got that original experience you gave me that experience. I got chills watching it for the first time. The song keeps playing in my head, and I keep rewatching the scene.

So thanks TFS, I finally get it.
