She teaches year 1.
She's reported the student numerous times to her head of year and the headmaster for behavioural issues since the start of term, yet the behavioural specialist has yet to make an appearance. Don't believe he's officially classed as SEN yet.
The TA of her class is threatening to walk out because of the disruption he's causing.
She hasn't been offered any training for difficult students (forget the name) but has said she wouldn't want it as it'd be an excuse for them to not take any further action to support her.
All of this is having a significant impact on her mental health at the moment, and if it weren't for the fact we've recently purchased a house she would leave teaching altogether.
What sort of things can I and my partner do to help her? I've told her to raise it with her union NUT but if they're like every other union I have experienced I'm not holding my breath.
The school is part of a federation. Would it be worth contacting their head office to raise the issue?
