I have heard a lot of success stories regarding people switching from teaching to tech. However, I have always considered myself unlucky and I have very little confidence. Education wise, I am not the smartest. I do not have the best communication skills. In college, I switched to education major as I was feeling overwhelmed and stressed out with any other majors and thought I was not smart enough for that.
I want to switch to tech. But I fear I wouldn’t get any jobs and it will be a waste of money again. After teaching did not work out for me, I fear restarting as the second thing might not work for me either.
Any advice?
