So, for context, I have my BA in Spanish, and originally wanted to teach university level. Well, I had to leave my master's program during the pandemic due to health reasons, but they said I could come back and finish the year I had left. I have been teaching secondary school in the meantime, but now at my second school it's so draining, mentally and emotionally. Especially since I moved to another state for one job, only to be let go towards the end of the year, and now my new school is two and a half hours away, and wanting me to relocate there. I don't see how I can do all of this financially, mentally or emotionally.
Also, I still want to finish my Masters, but don't know about teaching anymore. I know college is much different, but these same kids will be in college in a few years and I don't know if I can deal anymore. Issue is I don't know what else I can do with a language degree. Everyone tells me if you know Spanish you have so many opportunities, but that doesn't seem to be the case. So, any advice or knowledge would be very welcome here.
