We go back tomorrow...full time (the kids have a choice of virtual. We don’t.). However, so very unprepared. Most of our inservice meetings will be virtual. My student teacher’s advisor isn’t coming to observe her because of Covid and is, instead, asking her to send videos. Even our welcome from our superintendent is virtual. I am becoming more and more annoyed that they all have a choice in this and teachers really don’t, besides quitting, which I can’t do. On top of that (I teach emotional support), two of my students who wouldn’t do anything IN school will be virtual. One who has the most severe case of ADHD I have ever seen is coming back without meds and the dad of one of my super sensitive kids was just in the paper today after being arrested for drugs...again. I’m not ready for this.
