Hello all,
I apologize if this question is greeted unfavorably, but I was wondering if anyone might offer alternatives to secondary education as a teacher.
I already have a career as a professional Stagehand, but I mentor students at my Alma Mater. They are starting to really grow in a technical aspect where they will need more training than I can offer in the informal manner I have been. If I wanted to receive some basic certifications to make me employable by the school in a capacity to teach students as a professional, what might my options be? I don’t mean to belittle the education and efforts that go into being a teacher, I just don’t have time for all the secondary education and I’d like to try to avoid teaching core subjects if possible. I’d like to focus on teaching students a trade skill
This is in California at a public High School
