I am a math teacher in a rural area and I live in the town I teach. I've been harassed by a few students while at home. The peers of said students have told me who has been doing it and one of the harrassing students has been bragging he had some grand scheme. I've talked to a coworker who personally knows this student but nothing has really changed. This has never happened to me before and now Idk what I can do. Parents are jokes and don't do anything. I was going to talk to my super about this but I still dont feel comfortable as I just moved to this district this year. I also have a bunch of unruly 7th grade boys who dont listen to anything i say. They treat me like shit and Idk where I can go from here. Normally i can handle unruly students but when they all gang up against me Idk what to do there either. Im starting to feel overwhelmed and dont want to go to school, which never happened before. Its also messing with my anxiety and depression to the point i feel shitty abouy myself. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks in advance.
