Just finished my first year of teaching literally just came back from Friday drinks whoo-hoo!
My initial goal when I started teaching was to go to an all girls international school in Korea (I have family working in the school) so I have left a very supportive school with tons of great kids and staff to move to a all girls school in NZ.
There are a few things that really stood out at me, I know for a fact that non of my references nor my current principal was called after my interview but I was still offered a job and the entire Year 8 team has left the school.
But non of this matters now because I am moving on and already have the job.
Any tips for a male teacher working at a all girls intermediate-high school? It's about 12~18 in age.
Thank you in advance.
