Hello everyone! Currently I am doing a work study at my college to tutor in math. I quite enjoy my job. Which to say is the first job I've ever looked forward to going to everyday. While we may end up being swamped and the day itself could be stressful it always feels rewarding.
I am starting to work on my bachelor's degrees next Summer. One in Mathematics and the other in Math Education (Concentration 6-12). I'm doing my last prerequisite next semester and that being an introduction to education course. Any advice on shadowing? I know in total for my BA I'll have to put in around a minimum of one hundred hours in classrooms.
I was hoping I could get some advice on explaining things to the students. I find myself every once in awhile just going "it is what it is" when it comes to formulas. Is there a better way to explain the certain absolutes on equations and theorems?
