TW - over the past year in my personal life I was in a mentally and physically abusive relationship. My admin team knows this.

I found out a student who has already had manifestation meetings because of his violence and threats of violence was being switched to what is already my worst behaved class which is basically all boys. He did threaten another teacher with violence which is why the change is happening

I’m having a complete meltdown at the thought of this student coming into my room and the lack of disregard admin has about it I guess shouldn’t be surprising. After all we get treated as less than human the majority of the time anyways.

I guess this is more of a rant than seeking advice. My classroom has always been the “ dumping ground” because I’m good at what I do

They are failing I get them They are overly sensitive I get them They are new I get them They have anxiety I get them They are disrespectful to their current teacher I get them

I am drained and this feels like the final straw for me.
