I’m not talking about the kids who make a big deal out of it and are a distraction. I’m talking about the ones who you can tell are holding something small in their hand near their mouth all the time. Most of the time they never exhale anything noticeable.

I got to noticing last year the best and generally most respectful students in every class were discretely vaping. It finally got to a point where I had to ask myself if it was really a problem or distraction to instruction. It wasn’t. I finally just quit saying anything to them and as long as it wasn’t noticeable let them do it.

Overall grades in my classes were better the last report card period than any other with harder material. I don’t know the direct correlation to this but their has to be one.
