I like that my classroom has a bright, sunshine yellow accent wall instead of all neutral colors. I like that I have two big bulletin boards and a Smart projector. I have ample storage since my whole back wall is cabinets. I have hard floors, not gross carpet covered in years of kid spit and cheeto dust.
I don't like that I am next to the cafeteria (which is very loud) and that I don't have any windows. My room is long and narrow, so it can be hard for kids at the ends to see the board. I have the world's oldest
My best tips for classroom set up: Have a center for resources (pencils, paper, handouts, etc.) near where kids enter. I also always have a second, although smaller, "adult" desk for the many observers, practicum students, coteachers, etc. that parade through my class every day.
I'd love to hear about your space!
Edit: Oops, I meant tips, not types. I make a typo every time I post, I swear.
My first classroom didn't have any windows. I bought a big mirror and some simple trim and trimmed it like a window. While it wasn't the same as a real window, it certainly helped brighten up the space a little!
