So I'm a pre-service English teacher and I'm currently applying for schools in Georgia. I applied to a title 1 middle school on Friday (in a district famous for its shortages) and about 5 hours after submitting my application I got emailed asking for an interview.
I emailed back the next day saying yes and giving them my availability, and they responded within 4 hours with a date and time.
The school is actually one I really want to work at and it pays well, but I still haven't heard back from any of the other 10 counties I applied at over the past month.
Is this a red flag? Or is this a good sign, and does it mean the job is basically guaranteed?
