I have had two meetings so far with staff members and/or parents where the new principal has raised his voice to me in front of them. I am a new teacher this year (6 months in). I have yet to hear him do this to anyone else. I'm not sure if he has done it in smaller meetings with them, but it is embarrassing and disrespectful. Frankly, it lowers my morale even more in an already tough school with ever-changing policies. Yesterday, when he mentioned something regarding a contentious issue, I tried to speak, and he yelled, "Let me finish!" He did this before in a parent meeting and I thought it would be only one time and let it go. Yesterday, after he finished, I replied, "Now, let me finish". It was my way of showing that I won't tolerate that behavior. I was nothing but professional during an already very difficult meeting. I requested a meeting with him regarding this issue, but he has not replied. Frankly, I am just exhausted and just want to quit at this point. How should I handle this moving forward? Thanks.
