Hi guys! I wanted to make a post about this for a long time. (Tldr at the end)

Ever since Red came out all the way through Lover, I have kept waiting for the Taylor sound that made me obsessed with her music.

I first heard Love Story in high school and went on to listen to her albums and declare Taylor my favorite singer. Then Red came out and although I loved it too, something felt very different to me. I wasn't fully satisfied and i couldn't quite put my finger on it. She strayed farther and farther with reputation and Lover...

Then the other day it hit me when listening to one of the new Jonas Brothers songs..., I used to be a super fan of them; but i can't stand their new stuff.

Long story short, I realized the genre I miss that is not popular anymore... is pop rock! I've realized what all these artists USED to have in common was that they sang pop-rock (even Taylor!)

Ex: The Story of Us, Mine, Haunted, Long Live, You're Not Sorry, The way I loved you... Etc...

On a side note, I also adore songs like Last Kiss and Enchanted (this is my #1), but I'm not sure what is their genre.

I just wanted to see if there were any fans out there like me that although you love all the other albums, you miss the pop rock aspect of her songs. I wish so badly she'd do that genre again, PLUS with that country twist she added that made the songs so special and unique to her.

I'm not trying to offend anyone or start any best album war... Just wanted to write this out to the world because I have barely seen people talk about it, and it's something that i can't stop thinking about lol.
