I successfully got the book and vinyl today and thought I’d share my experience and see how it went for everyone else. Got to Target an hour early and was second in line. Was probably no more than 50 people in line before they opened. It was very organized, they had employees directing us to the Taylor products and kept us in a queue the whole way so that no one would run. Everyone was very kind and respectful. They had a ton of books but not a lot of vinyls so I’m glad I got there early. I have 4 Targets in a 5 mile radius so could be why the line wasn’t too long. I suspect the vinyls are probably gone by now but there should be plenty of books.
Warren, MI - Online it said there were 9 vinyls left so I figured why not give it a shot? Went in on my lunch. Saw plenty of the Eras book but couldn't even find the stand for the vinyls anywhere (wasn't where the map said it would be on the app). Asked an employee if he happened to know where the stand was and he said he thought they sold out early but he remembered seeing one laying on a random shelf somewhere. He walked me over to where he thought it was and IT WAS STILL THERE! There goes all my luck for the rest of the year but I'll take it!
Funny thing is now it says there's 8 left, so there might be more around somewhere! Picturing an employee being like "these swifties are gonna work for it scavenger hunt style!" and hiding 10 of them around the store or something.
