Popup python terminal when a stream is paused

tautulli keeps opening and closing a python terminal every time a plex stream is paused. I had this issue before when tautulli was not installed as a daemon and switching it to a daemon installation got rid of this issue but I recently updated to the new version of tautulli and according to the docs, tautulli will run as a daemon if the "Launch at system startup" option is selected. However, after turning that on and restarting my pc, the problem persists.
This is on Windows 10, Tautulli v2.5.3
