New Year’s/Nightlife in Tauranga

Coming to Tauranga for New Year’s from Hamilton for the first time. To me, Hamilton has a pretty good nightlife on Fri and Sat nights. Have heard Tauranga isn’t as good and that bars and clubs close at 2am.

We’re 18 year olds so wanting something for younger people.

What’s the go with nightlife in Tauranga? What’s the most popular club in the city? What’s some other good clubs for younger ages? What happens on New Year’s? What does everyone do after midnight fireworks? Any other suggestions or advice for New Year’s in Tauranga?
