I think Tauranga is living in the plot of Robocop 3. "A multinational company is determined to evacuate the city of Detroit to build their pet project called Delta City. RoboCop must fight the mega corporation and help the people of Detroit." Have you been to Tauranga centre lately? It's awful and empty, roadworks and the new 1 way roads that are connected to closed off roads lined with closed shops, someone is trying to make the city centre a terrible place and drive out everyone so they can buy it cheap to build their Delta city. 🤔
