broadcast-recieved translating to High Gothic audio-file-repeat/play

..mayday, mayday, this is ... emergency broadcast. To any forces... greater good, emergency! Our ...Cadre is marooned, our ...position overrun by tyranid swarms. Mayday...mayday!

audio-file-paused

I've played Tau for nearly 15 years, nearly since the beginning. Since then, my collection has always been skewed towards battlesuits and Farsight. I have always played more of a fluffy list, but have recently tried to shift it a bit to be competitive as well while maintaining playing what I actually want to.

My Cadres fluff is that it is an Enclave RAIC(Rapid Assault/Insertion cadre) special forces. Led by commanders who idolize Farsight, they specialize in sabotaging bases and disrupting supply lines. During a recent mission to retrieve an abandoned T'au Y'Vahra, they were suddenly pulled out of FTL while returning to Vior'Los above an unknown planet, their Lar'Shi cruiser striking debris and forced to ground. They found the planet overrun with another stranded species, an abandoned tendril of a tyranid hive fleet. While the tyranids had come to equilibrium with their new home, upon detection of the Tau their alphas quickly reasserted control and began assaulting the Tau. The stranded Cadre now fights a desperate battle against a weakened, bit voracious enemy. Their only hope is an angelic rescue from above, but the planets harsh atmosphere and dense orbital debris severely restricts any communications to just a few light years.

That's the brief version anyways, lol.

Here is the list, and I welcome any C/C and discussion.

Obviously my playstyle is hyper aggressive. I usually tend to keep the plasma rifle team in Manta Strike, using it to drop on top of an enemys high value elite infantry or exposed characters. The two flamer/CIB teams follow the Y'Vahra up one flank, laying down volume fire once they close to 12/18". The shasvre carries the CIB to keep the squad hitting for both volume/quality.

The infantry and fireblade tackle home field objectives, generating points and new CP. Meanwhile, my Enforcer, Veteran XV8 team and the hazards usually move midfield to overwhelm enemy units trying to control that area of the board.

My Coldstar, of course, maneuvers around sniping and waiting for a juicy vehicle/character to expose themselves.
