So I've been going to a professional laser removal technician for 3 sessions (she's been doing this for over 20 years and I deemed her very competent based on both reviews and before/after pics). At my first consultation I asked her if she could estimate how many sessions I might need and she guessed on maybe 4 or so, I'm now 3 sessions in and see absolutely no difference whatsoever, not even the slightest fading. So I'm just curious if this is how it's suppose to be? What I can say is that my skin doesn't seem that affected by the laser afterwards. It's a little red and the lines of the tattoo are raised for maybe a day or so but then goes back to normal. I will not post any pics of my tattoo and how it looks since it's on a very private body part (my butt cheek). But it's a home-made tattoo done on a drunken night 7 years ago by a drunk friend, simple lines (no shading etc.) and only black ink. So I feel that it shouldn't be that hard to get rid of or is my body just not susceptible to tattoo removal laser??
