I am beginning to look seriously into the process of laser removal for a 12 year old, 3x3 black piece on my shoulder blade - tribal style with solid black shading and some negative space, and thin line lettering off to the side.
I've read the FAQs here and looked through a lot of folks' posts to give myself an idea of what the process looks like and what to expect. My question for you all is - are there any good questions to ask in a consultation that could shed light on whether the clinic is a good option, above and beyond cost, appointment spacing, what type of laser they're using, and the experience level of the operator? What made you all feel comfortable moving forward with your clinic?
I've had one consult previously that was AWFUL - the doctor badgered me to discuss the meaning of the tattoo, and once he finally dropped it, moved to talking shit about other patients by name for their tattoos. It's taken me a long time to feel brave enough to try somewhere new, and this place is a two-hour drive, so I want to make the most of this consult.
Any insight (or moral support) is appreciated!
