Hi

I'm working towards my first tattoo. I know what it should represent to me and I know where it should be placed. I guess that's a good start :)
What I look for is a representation of the idea that I'm my own guardian. I have been to some hard times and have not always been as protective of myself as I should have been.

So - I want to place a guardian on my chest, basically protecting my heart. I have seen in Tibet the "enlightened" demons guarding the temple and loved that concept. Peaceful and enlightened but fierce and brutal when attacked. Along a similar line would be a samurai - ideally one that looks like he had his fair share of battles.

I would be grateful for any suggestions, hints, ideas that I could discuss with a tattoo artist.
