I could use some help designing my first tattoo.

I have tried designing my own tattoo but am not 100% happy with the result so far. It feels like something is still missing but i cant really put my finger on what that would be. The first picture is what came up with so far and the other two i used as inspiration and to pin down the style i am looking for. The tattoo should go on the inside of my forearm.
