Hey everyone, I have a few questions as I am currently planning my next tattoos. I already have two tattoos which I both do not like (my first from a VERY untalented/inexperienced artist and one from an artist who did not know how to do the style I wanted) and now I am very unsure what to do.
My idea is to have Anubis and Horus but instead of Shackal and Falcon I would like them to have a St. Bernard's and a turkey's head. As Shackal and Falcon are symbolizing beauty and grace and strength and all. I would like the Bernards and the Turkey (quite "ugly" in comparison) to represent the same thing.
So naturally I thought about getting this tattoo done in photorealistic style as there is an artist close by that is one of the best photorealism artists in the whole country if not the best. But as you would guess it is very hard to get time from him. There are two other studios that have interesting and also quite good realistic pieces on Insta but I heard not too grat things about those studios. Would you wait and try to get a slot at this extraordinarily good artist even if it takes years to finally get a slot?
And I also like the polygon-style but I am not sure if this could also show the grace and beauty that I would like to have from the two gods... does anyone have experience with this?
Last question (i promise!): I have no clue where to put those tattoos. My first one is on my lefe inner forearm and my second one is on the back of my right upper arm. Now I am considering the tattoos on my calfs or on my shoulders but not sure where they would fit best as I would like to see them if I spent a ton of money on it... I would be happy if anyone has any experience with this placement and could share this.
