      I had an IDEA!!! and reached out to an old friend from HS, who had become a tattoo apprentice, and asked to commission some artwork from her! After telling her my idea (!!) she came back with a FANTASTIC jumping off point that started a back and forth of designs and modifications (if it's hard to tell which drawings are mine, they're the ones in pencil😋) 

   She absolutely brought what I envisioned to LIFE and when the tattoo artist was given the reigns to modify and adjust to their style, they chose to keep it very close to the original final draft, as they felt it was well fit for the space and they didn't love any design they came up with as much as Laura's, BIG SHOUTOUT!

this was my visual interpretation of the phrase

"Follow the lights"

And for me it represents how my life has changed since becoming a part of the festival scene. The LITERAL given is a moth being attracted to the "lights" or lasers of the festival. But it's an evolved kind of creature in a whimsical way, just as I feel I'm expanding into a new, better version of myself. My favorite part, bar none, is the lantern. The implication being the lights I'm really following are from the people I meet, and that I myself have my own light to draw people to me❤️
