Hello all,

So I was looking to get my first tattoo, but I'm starting to think my idea will be impossible. I was thinking about an hourglass that was reversible. You look at it one way, and it looks almost full. You look at it the other way, and it looks almost empty. Across the center would be an abigram thar reads "memento mori" one way and "memento vivere" the other. There was another small thing that I thought to have written on the top and bottom, once again readable, depending on how you look at it.

But as I said the hourglass part seems to be pretty much impossible. Anybody have any ideas or suggestions? All would be appreciated.

Edit: so I've been informed that I should go to a local shop and talk with the artist(s) there first to see if they can come up with the design I'm looking for. Thank you all who contacted me.
