What type of art style should I be practicing?

I absolutely hate drawing digitally so this is rushed but I’m wondering if I should be doing lots of pen and ink style drawings like this with line work to practice for tattooing? I don’t have a machine or skins yet but I wanna know what I can start doing now? What should I practice!? And does anyone have any preferences for what machine I should start out with first?
