Anyone have any Target Bad Boss stories?
I’ll go first. I had only been at this Target for almost a month.
So I just recently quit my job at Target. I was a Fullfillment team member. I remember orientation went well so I had high hopes for the rest of the job.
My first two days weren’t bad. The TLs seemed nice (apparently it was a front). Then after that, I was CONSTANTLY ignored. I would radio that I was going on break or lunch and I would get ignored. Eventually, I was getting ignored when I was radioing for help on certain tasks (reaching for high objects as I’m 4’10).
I wasn’t trained much at all so I would ask questions to train myself. I would get dirty looks, eyerolls, and the condescending laugh from my TLs.
They would constantly coach me on my times (I had just started and was trying to meet my time goal of 30 minutes for standard and OPU) I told them I have a hip disease that causes me to walk weird and much slower than others. They pretty much ignored what I said and just stared at me. I had told HR about my disease and told my TLs more than once. Same reaction from TLs every time.
It got to the point no TL in the store would acknowledge me even when I tried to talk to them. No one took me serious and they just made me feel worthless and unwelcome. Anytime I would talk, I would get dirty and condescending looks.
Oh and I noticed that if any TM tried to talk to another TM they would get coached and stared at. But TLs stand around talking all the time.
Anyone else have a bad TL story?
Edit: added more info
I’m glad you got out of there.
This TL makes me want to vomit. You didn’t deserve this
For your own safety stay far away from him lol
Sadly no. I could have surgery but it doesn’t fix it.
How does this dude get hired at places smh.
This was my store too! They would give you a task and be upset you weren’t doing something from Timbuktu
