Can't Audit Floor?

Anyone else having an issue where they can audit the floor counts/on hands? Every time I try it only updates the physical floor count.
I.e of the mydevice says we have 8 candles in stock, I audit it to say 0, it still says 8
I was told only our SD can audit floor counts now. Is that true?
