So I have a surgery scheduled for tomorrow, it got moved up suddenly and will require me to be put to sleep, I had originally picked up a shift for tomorrow but now I'll have to call out.
My ETL was kinda passive aggressive about it, about how it was my responsibility now, and I needed to text all my coworkers to try and get it covered. Now I'm worried he will write me up.
HR told me to call out and bring a doctors note, so I could use my sick time. Now I'm worried I wont be able to?
Will I get written up? Is this even allowed?
Even if I get a doctors note, I was told this will still go against my attendance...
