so im not trying to whine or complain because i know people have worse jobs and lives but im really frustrated and upset. i work in electronics (we are modernized). and was told all i had to do when i was hired was zone my 12 aisles, whether it be toys or electronics, while helping guests and doing reshop. but i'm really treated like shit. i was hired in july and i got really sick and went into the hospital so i had to take a few weeks off, i got back at the end of september. i am usually given a lot more tasks than i was hired for and usually i dont mind, but today was honestly my breaking point. i went in a 4pm and got off at 11:26pm (im supposed to get off at 11:15). - i went there all of E block (toys outdoors) and all of F block (electronics, pets, seasonal) and did ad takedown. - i did 3 reshop carts - i pushed two 3 tier carts of electronics - i zoned F1-F12 - i did every single F front and back endcap. I did all of E frontcap. - i helped guests when my coworkers wouldnt. while trying help my own - i put away apple products (which is AP's job) - i went through all of E & F block after i already did ad takedown and have to take everything off the floors and baseboards and try to zone them. i tried to ask for help 2 times and i was told that everyone was busy and i needed to do it myself, so why would i ask again. i was going to skip my last 15 to try and finish more things i was assigned but i realised i shouldnt have to skip my break because i had to do my coworkers tasks. i went to clock out and was given attitude by my LOD because she found out i had two full carts of reshop that i had picked up from zoning and etc. i dont know what to do, a majority of my coworkers are lazy as hell and never finish their easy tasks because they are talking or on their phones. and i always finish mine but am given attitude when i dont finish one that isnt even mine to begin with. what do i do i feel so worthless and upset over a retail job. :(
