Post Body

Last week I over worked myself with coming in on my days off and coming in early and staying late and I noticed an effect on my mental health. So today I told my TL I’m not staying late and that we should come up with a plan to get ship done. She partners with the closing TL and tells me the plan to have a bunch of people pic carts. An hour goes by and I finally see the closing TL and she confirms the plan with me, awesome cool, put the plan into action why are you asking me? So I go back to packing with the 4 carts we had. Bout an hour goes by and the closing TL and the closing style girl come back with their carts. The closing TL says “alright so what else do we need to do?” I think really bro? You’re the god damned TL why are you asking me? So I remind her of the amount of carts that needs to be picked and that I’m leaving when schedule and she look me dead in the face and says “okay so do I just leave what was finished and put that in my email?” I didn’t know if she was joking so I just stared for a second and the style girl pops in and says “it’s okay I’m scheduled late I’ll pack.” Come to find out this TL didn’t know how to pack. Dawg you’re a TL and you don’t know how to pack? Really? What if the style girl wasn’t here or something happened to where none of the TMs knew how to pack? The great part about this is that you are not required to stay and solve that problem and it’s not your responsibility. Protect your peace.
