I made a similar post last month and seemed to have a lot of great stories, so I wanted to ask again. What are some of your craziest stories from your time at Target?

One that I didn’t share last time was from my very first day as an ETL… well I should say it was my first day being the only ETL on duty. We had a bomb threat called into our store. I quickly evacuated everyone to the far side of our parking lot, away from any cars and structures (per the police’s instructions). They told us not to go to our cars in cause the explosives are attached to a vehicle. After some time, we then heard noise coming from the wooded area behind where we were standing. An officer approaches to investigate… there were two homeless people having sex, buck naked. It was then about 10 minutes of them running around the parking lot while officers were trying to catch them. That certainly added some levity to a fairly tense and scary situation. In the end the bomb threat proved to be fake, but it took a few hours to clear. We were then about 20 minutes till we were supposed to close. It was a madhouse trying to get through the guests that pretty much stormed the building, mostly trying to gawk at the whole situation. Myself and a team lead that volunteered stayed a few hours after close to wrap things up since the team was still on edge, I wanted them all to leave as soon as we closed.
