Slight hybrid build?

So the skill point optimizer wants me to get auric shot. But I'm doing a CS build. Is it worth putting a couple points in that side just for auric shot? I have loads of skill points and every artifact now. Would boosting the gold gun a little bit be helpful? Also does fire sword boost gold gun like it does to SC
