Wife and I opened our marriage about 6 months ago and have been meeting and talking with new partners online. We had heard about Eyez Wide Shut but hadn’t tried it before last night.
Overall, it was a great experience. We didn’t end up hooking up with any couples but you can tell the staff and security go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, safe and create a cultural aphrodisiac for all involved.
We spoke to a couple of regulars during this specific theme night and their general impression was that everyone was a little tighter than usual. No one really seemed to want to talk, but according to some, this wasn’t normal. The bar is designed to create a long line and force conversation. We had some good small talk, but nothing that led to more. The game room was a cool place and somewhere you and your SO could hang out and not just look like kids at the high school dance waiting for that first couple to break the ice on the dance floor.
Around 11:30, we made our way to the play area and walked around. It was pretty fricken awesome. Very clean, very professional, and low stress. Wife and I walked around and debated playing in the big group area but settled on a private room instead. Even with it being just the two of us, there were cool things in the room that enabled us to spice things up. I enjoyed looking in the mirror as I fucked her :)
We will definitely go again — prob just with another couple or group of friends. I can understand now why so many people seem to assert you shouldn’t go as a single man. I could see where that would be a challenge even for the best looking dudes.
