I have had a few questions on Mental Dom vs Physical Dom differences. I truly believe that the Dom/Sub dynamic has two independent dimensions. One one end is the perfection of the release of endorphins. Spanking, Whipping, clipping, needles, etc etc. This kind of play can be immensely powerful. It is highly skill based to slowly release the subs endorphins to convert it from minimal suffering to maximal pleasure by controlling the endorphin release process.
One the other end is the Dom/Sub play that is a lot more focused on getting into a stable and giving headspace. The headspace comes out of letting things go. Letting go of clothing. Letting go of yourself as a human and wearing a collar. Understanding that the body is your Masters to humiliate and yours to obey.
Each is powerful in its own regard. I am much more interested in the mental side where the sub goes into a head space on her own by creating the right environment for her. I use pain as a way to increase suffering so she can get into a giving mindset - not for her to increase her endorphins.
For me, the line between mental and physical is pretty black and white. These are two fundamentally different kinds of dynamics. They may look the same on the outside but very different on the inside. Let me know your thoughts.
