I live in Cambodia in the expats community. There is such a positive attitude to mental health and seeing a therapist which is great compared to when I lived in the UK where it was seen as shameful.
How do you know when you need to see a therapist? Do you have to have a specific reason or can you just go to talk through your hangupd in life. I know I have issues with sex ( I don't like people touching me) and relationships( I have never had one) and issues with my body but I struggle to see how someone can help me with those issues.
I did CBT for 4 years or bad OCD and it was the most uncomfortable time of my life.
