I made a joke and didn’t think it would be that funny, but she choked on her water, spat it out laughing and then struggled to compose herself.
It was an initial intake because I broke up with someone else from her practice after learning they had a living child. I asked her to keep it secret if she has any, for now. It’s too much to talk to people with living children after years of infertility and three losses.
In conclusion she said “Well it would be an honor to work with you.” to communicate that she accept me as a client.
Kinda feel like she likes me too much already, and then she’s going to say nice things about me in sessions. Bogus, total red flag. /s
I think it’s sticking with me because I’m always sus that they’re faking that they like me, but one can’t simply fake a lol like that.
At least my multiple therapists like me 🤷🏻♀️ maybe I’ll rejoin society again someday. Sky is the limit.
Edit: Talked about someone who was worried if they’ll ever get married, and said “Oh, they’ll get married for sure (pause) ...they’ll get divorced, but they’ll get married.” Do you see my suspicion with them all pandering to me - it’s not /that/ funny, but I suppose timing is key.
