I really want to do therapy, but the 3 times I've tried it, I spent the first like 4-5 sessions just explaining my trauma (I've had a terrible life) and by the time we got around to trying to work on it, something happened where I lost my insurance or moved, etc. And it was frustrating to say like "did I already explain why I'm triggered by X?" And then I would have to explain and by the time I was done we were out of time. Are there therapists that are willing to do like 4 hour sessions on intake?
I know insurance probably wouldn't cover that but I've saved up a bit of money to cover it because I think it would be helpful in my healing process. But I've tried googling it and I haven't found any therapists advertising it so I don't even know if it's something you can do. I honestly think I could work through my traumas easier if I could just have a therapist that talked to me all day like once a month for like 6 months.
Are phone therapists an option? I'm not big in eye contact anyway so that might make it easier.
