Lady comes in at 1PM on a Tuesday and asks me if she can sit at the bar just to sit on her laptop. I then ask her “Will you be purchasing anything?” which she replies with “Nah I just wanted to finish work on my computer” so my response to her was “So ma’am, the bar is only for people who are purchasing food/drinks, and since you aren’t doing either of that, I can’t let you sit at the bar.”

She then became upset and said “This is VERY bad customer service and you’re completely empty!!” to which I tell her “But you’re not a customer though. We can’t allow people who aren’t making purchases to occupy space at the bar even if we are empty.”

She then leaves and says “I’m never coming back here” and finally I respond with “Ok well I hope you enjoy the rest of your day ❤️”

Ahhhh don’t you just love entitled people?
