Would picking up a second job as a server be worth it?

Post Body
Hello. I've been thinking about picking up a second job. I currently work as a front desk agent at a hotel, and $13 an hour every two weeks just isn't doing it for me. The Cracker Barrel in my town needs servers, and I was considering applying. I've never worked in a restaurant before though. Cracker Barrel is busiest Fri-Sun and on holidays. During the week it's hit or miss. Does anyone have any experience serving there?
