I am starting a job as a server at a new restaurant, this location is an llc similar to outback. Is it normal for servers to make their own drinks ? The bar is in the back of the house. I possess no experience with this and the manager during training laughed at me because I didn’t know what Kendall Jackson was. He also wants drinks made in 30 seconds. Is this common? I feel a little overwhelmed, I am easily adaptable but miss my old job . Just trying to figure out if it is good fit. My previous restaurant experience was not corporate and did not serve alcohol. They were family owned, but had to close. Thanks in advance.
