To be fair, I've only worked in the industry for a few years. But today I pulled a double. 830-4 and then 5-945. It was a good day.

It was the last day of a six day stretch. Single, double, single, double, single, double. My fiance is out of town visiting her mom's. I was supposed to go on this trip but I'm still new at this job and of course part of the deal is working holidays. I didn't mind.

I suppose my experience may be skewed because of the type of restaurant I work in and the area it's located but I was shocked as hell to see people show up at 938 to start going at our brunch menu.

The restaurant had a pretty decent lunch. Dinner was booked till 9 and I was out before 10. Kitchen was fine before me.

Solid day with some really great earnings.
