Occured several weekends ago and decided to share.

Busy fucking night. Table was waiting a good 5 mins for me to get to them. Party of 5. I finally get to them. Last guy is an old coot and can't hear me and I can't hear him. I walk around to him asking me "Are any of your sodas vegan friendly?"

I took a quick millisecond that felt like an hour to process the question and answered "all our sodas are vegan friendly, no animal product is involved". Guy then asks "do your specialty sodas contain fructose corn syrup?" I quickly answer, idk as they are imported (asian sodas and we never always have the same brand) but I will check and get back. "Oh no that's ok, I'll just take a water. This is so difficult"

I wasted what was like 5 mins getting a water order from this guy. Took a quick a moment to sigh over the wasted time but ok whatever, time to move on

Next up on the same stupid night:

Can you make all these specialty cocktails virgin and as a frozen drink? No and no we cannot do frozen drinks tonight (AND) Are your scallops real? No we make them out of cardboard in the back of the kitchen. Queue 5 mins of this guys talking about the rise in imitation scallops. (LASTLY) Can you make me a frozen virgin piña colada?😑

followed by

Can we sub this totally free item for something else that isn't free? I tell them I can't. Gives me a face that looks like I'ma tryna rip them off. Goes on to tell me a new servers subbed the items. Queue them arguing over what to get for several minutes.

Earlier that night
