I get it that your kid wants a beer with their meal to some degree, but do you have to kick off at me when your clearly underage kid gets his pint took off him when he's clearly swigging it for all the world to see?
If you haven't already clocked on I'm an English server and the legal age to drink here is 18, no I don't want to hear "I used to work in a bar and I know you can have a pint with your meal if you're under 18", it's entirely up to the discretion of the venue and I'll not be taking a £5k fine just cos your son wants a lager with his happy meal.
My favourite excuse was from my other customers tonight, upon asking the clearly under age girl to supply proof of age the mother responded with "well she's only taking small sips" oh so if I only inject small hits of heroin that doesn't count either?
Do one.
